It's better to rule things out, or find out what's you're dealing with. Medicine has many fine and effective tools, you know.
Please don't try to trigger an episode. I don't mean to scare you either, but we all are forced to deal in the realities of life, and it is a real possibility this can be dangerous and life-threatening.
While you wait to see your doc, remember coping skills and all that, okay?
It could be nothing.
It could be something.
You don't know. We don't know. Medicine can find out, though.
Right now, it's like an investigation and you and the doctor (and I hope he refers you to a cardiologist) are the "team" trying to pin down the answer to a mystery.
Keep us posted. We care about you and there are some experts on worry and anxiety here, as well, should that be needed.
PLease do make that call.
