I'm pretty stressed right about now.
My son's passion is making music on his computer using a program called Reason.
He's gotten very good (he does 'spinning' or 'mixing' - electronic-type music) & he makes the 'tracks' that people use in mixing.
He played me his most recent 'song' he's working on & the computer was not acting right.
Now it won't let him on. Windows says it encountered a problem turning on & he's tried the various 'fix' options that it gives him.
He is so stressed, he said he needed to simply go to sleep...couldn't handle it....
I am stressed - WHAT if it means that all his work is lost!!
That hindsight is 20-20 thing - I don't think he has a back-up of the music files.
What if to fix it, it means all his files are lost....
It would be like an artist having all their work burned up.
Stay-in-the-present Kath!! But it's hard.
DH is in computers. I am hoping that when he gets home he might be able to suggest some different way of dealing with this that my son hasn't done.
PLEASE send "the computer is fixed & everything is okay" vibes........
:-( Kath
