New words for emotions

Posted by seldomseen on April 18, 2008, at 6:39:10

You know, I've decided that there just aren't the right words sometimes to describe how I'm feeling. So i just made up some of my own.

Agitired (agitated and tired)
Sagitated (agitated and sad)
angrepression (the state of being angry and depressed simultaneously)
insomnxiety (can't sleep and anxious)
hoplefurious ( hopeless and mad)
upsorried (upset and worried)
sumb (sad and numb)

Of course, you can add dissociated to any of these by adding the prefix - dis
For example, dishoplefurious, dissagitated etc....

Also, medication-induced or exacerbation can be included as well such as:

sedatosumb
fluoxinsomnxiety
nardilagitired

or the variants that have been flying around babblechat:

klonopinned and klonodimmed

I find saying "I am sedatosumb" much more efficient than saying "As a consequence of or despite the fact that I am sedated, I still feel rather sad and numb.

Does anyone have any other new words to add to the psychiatric lexicon?

Seldom.
