> When I heard this song I heard someone who was brave enough to make himself vulnerable- especially in the chorus, where the higher pitch is risky-- I heard optimism in the chord progressions, but not smug happy-go-lucky optimism. I heard that the chords don't always go where we expect them to, but the longer the listener is left hanging, the more satisfying the eventual resolution is.

As far as my dating goes...well, I am still struck out, but I am alive. I'm doing what many others are also trying to do...I just suck badly sometimes,(or often!:) lol. Some interesting stories, though. This last person I met, boy was she a real bundle of joy! She was just kinda nasty, really grumpy and miserable the second I met her. Then she said "I don't want anything to do with you...I'm not attracted to you." Well, I could have said the same, but I would also say, hey, we can still be friends! But, it's like, sometimes these people think you owe them something.
Oh well...sorry for the editorial..lol...thanks,
Jay
