Ambidexterity

I am a strongly right handed person.
Last fall, I taught myself to use the computer mouse with my left hand. It took 1 day to master point and click 1 week to master scrolling, and slightly longer to master highlighting sections of text, dragging and dropping. about 2 weeks to do drawing and graphics stuff. I didn't change the configuration of the R and L mouse buttons. I just picked up my mouse and moved it to the left side, because my right hand was in pain from tendinitis. Now I'm a circus freak. I can play mouse with my left hand, and use my right hand to take notes and scribble on the page. it's really fun.
It's pretty cool to feel your brain rewiring like that.
