It's depression.
I go through these periods where I just don't know what's wrong with me, but I don't seem to be able to react appropriately to anything. And I'll bring it up with my therapist -- who'll remind me, "Depression does that..."
I'm sure there's more to it than that, but that's part of it, I'm sure.
