wow - that's a lot of exciting changes coming up for the both of you.
Well, I live just outside St. Louis, and have lived somewhere in the midwest for 13 years of my adult life (I'm 46) I like it very much. People are nice and would do anything for you. And I was born and raised in New England, and have also spent quite a few year in southern California and also lived in the south. Military life took me all over, I guess :-) This may be my favorite place.
Really, it's all about how you look at it, I think. Like an interesting, new adventure, or like a scary, weird place....ya' know? But ghost's right, there can sure be some culture shock if you go from city right to rural...but you *might* like it.
What general type of work are you looking for?
Do you want to say what part of the state you'll be in? Makes a big difference. If not here, you can Babblemail me, if you want. But I can mostly speak for the greater St. Louis area, not the western/northern parts of MO.
