I'm sorry you've had such a rotten day.
I'm curious as to why you give a rat's *ss about these girls' opinions of you. Would you want to be friends with girls who routinely treat others in this way? The way you've discribed their behavior, it sounds as if they're in jr. high, trying to make others miserable to make themselves feel better.
I wouldn't worry about the folders or what's in them. Pretend like you never saw it and they get no satisfaction.
I might keep a private record at home of all the things they do. If the bitchiness turns into harassment, you have documentation to take into personnel, should the need arise.
