As far as movies...Netflix has been wonderful for me. Reliable, movies rarely unavailable (happened 2 times in 2 years), they arrive in 2 days (for me, anyway - big distro. center in St. Louis, close by), website well designed and always working properly, great customer service....etc.
(Huh, maybe I ought to go to work doing PR for them!)
But really, 2 years and I swear by them. Flexible plans to choose from, depending on how much you want to pay and # of movies you'd like to have at home at any one time. And, the coolest thing I recall, last year, they sent people with a certain membership level an email saying because they were doing so well, they were *lowering* our monthly fee!! And they did, by I think, two or three dollars. Since when does THAT ever happen?!
Of course, I love that the most I ever have to do is walk to my mailbox to get or return a movie. this can be (and has been) done in a bathrobe, BTW! :-)
They don't have games or books on tape, though. Not anywhere I can discover, anyway.
Blockbuster now has online service, too. I've never explored their options, given my love affair with Netflix ;-)
