> Oh YESSSS..:-) Also one of my fave bands of all time. I might argue a bit that Geddy Lee is the numero-uno bass player, but Squire is amazing and no doubt about that! Geddy is the reason I picked up the bass though...
Both Geddy and Chris had Rickenbacker 4003 stereo bass guitars. I love that guitar. Geddy uses others now, but he still has an old "teardrop" cutdown Fender from the old days.
Ya, I took up bass because of these guys, but even with the same bass, I couldn't get the same sounds. :(
I just checked. They list at nearly $1700! Mine's a 1971. Might be a model 4001. I forget.

Youngster! I was seeing Rush in bars and high schools. Opening for Nazareth, "Working Man" era.

Only Toronto date I've ever missed.
> Neil Peart's drum solo...sorry but NOBODY can even come near that..period. :-) Go check out his new website at www.neilpeart.net and www.rush.com
Ya, Neil is the best drummer. Did you ever see Keith Moon, though? Different style, but equally as gifted.
Hey Jay. If you can swing those passes to the show in Peterborough for Tom Cochrane, that would be way kewl. It would be great to do the real live thing.
