Thanks, sleepygirl. Music is definitely a reminder. Sometimes an old song comes on and I find myself sitting there with a stupid grin on my face because I am remembering something, from long the past, that still makes me smile. Weird how music can evoke such strong emotions. I know what you mean about some songs that can't be tolerated - some because they are just, well, bad, but others because they bring back too many memories, usually painful. I remember when we'd move, for some reason I would associate the move with a song or two (song(s) that my friends and I loved and listened to a lot). Once we got to the new place, I could not listen to those songs without crying. It would sometimes be years before I can stand to listen to the song(s)).
You take care.
Tamara
> Sure I can relate to that, sometimes music brings up a lot, too much, sometimes it's a great friend. It is certainly a reminder. There are some songs I simply can't tolerate. They aren't bad songs, they just remind me of bad times.
