So no one has anything to say about this?
Where are the other ADD'ers?!
Well here is one.
I think there are people who can relate to what you are going through. It's why we're here.
I've been dealing with such issues.
I am on the precipice of executing on a directed functional organized approach.
Basically get the heck out of dodge and going somewhere else and starting over.
My SO and I are in agreement about this.
Go somewhere where you can start over and no one knows you. There's only one chance to make a first impression. :)
Have a strategy to work on.
I'm leaving all the distractions behind and wil only have what to focus on that needs to get done like work and career.
Take classes in business because as it applies to business so it applies to you and how you communicate your worth to others.
By doing that and helping others in their endeavors, so you become valueble to others. By taking classes or something you get out of the house. You just
have to get out of the house.
I got a laptop and can go to free wifi spots to connect.
Take the medication necessary to alleviate symptoms and allow you to be more directed and focused even if for short periods of time.
When you go to do a task ask yourself where does fit on a list of priorities. Can it wait or can you do it later and do something else that needs to be done sooner? What tasks are the one that need to be done to get you closer to your goal?
With ADD its really hard to let go of tasks you are more hell bent on doing rather than doing some that need more doing to help you. You just have to let the distractive ones go and forget about them. I think people with ADD cant divide their time between tasks. It's either all or nothing on one specific thing at a time. It sucks but sometimes you just have to go with it or risk getting into an endless mind loop that slows everything down. Hoping you get out before its too late, before you have to get that other thing done.
Im breaking a loop now. Without being to ospecific, I released my mind and put on music that drives me. And here I am now.
Going on to something else now...
