okay- this is going to sound WAY weird, but A favorite of mine (I'm much too wishy-washy to choose just one)is....drum roll, please....
Coyote Ugly...... (gasps of dismay heard 'round the "listeners", I know).

I just find it incredibly empowering and full of hope. That humans can manage to learn to conquer their demons. That they can be brave enough to do things that "societal mores" are against (and "using" all "the bad" as a means to grow and ultimately get you where you want to the "good" place you want to be!). To metamorphose from caterpillar to butterfly in terms of personal strength. All the while realizing that communication is key with regard to any and all types of human relationships. That sometimes you need to agree to disagree with your boss, your friends, your father (parents), your boyfirend (husband). That if communications are honest and things are explained with love, a daughter can talk to her father AND BE HEARD (fascinating topic, to ME, anyway!)

Okay, maybe you all think I'm nuts to get all of that from the movie, but that's what is was to me and the meanings become clearer everytime I watch it again....

(The horrified silence becomes deafening to the crazy movie critic.....) (hee hee)
