Cass,
right now I am not easily aroused sexually because of the medication I am on. I feel like it is a double edged sword for some of the reasons you mentioned. I feel more in control this way. I think it has to do with the intensity of my emotions. Because off my meds my emotions are very strong, and so when I am horny, I am very horny. I have always associated horniness with being taken advantage of by guys probably because of my past relationships, and so that is probably why I don't like the overwhelming feeling of it now. Or maybe it's because when I'm horny I feel other intense emotions too like Love. And so it's easier to get your feelings hurt or to feel rejected after sex. I also feel more depressed and anxious too off my meds and I don't like that feeling. This is a good thread. I'm glad you started it!
