Is this some type of clinic?
That is ridiculous. I have run into similar problems at clinics and with a few doctors. Klonopin is really not considered an addictive drug. I wish I had book marked some of the stuff I read. You can find some from looking it up on psycho-babble where I read some of it. I will try to look it up for you.
With Klonopin ones needs taper off it is what I read though I never needed to. But one does not get cravings or get used to a dose and have to increase it.
Just because it is a benzo. Some of these quacks do not want you to take it. If it helps you a lot then I would find a doctor who will prescribe it to you or at the very least give you a legitimate reason for not wanting you to take it.This really pushes my buttons. I ended up suing a clinic. I was functioning better than I had most of my life and they wanted me to go into the hospital and go off the Ritalin as they said it was addictive and I was taking either valium or xanax at the time. I was working and had my own apartment. They said it was dangerous and I needed to immediately go into the hospital and get off these "dangerous" meds. I left and stayed on the meds and more and functioned quite well for a long time on them. Until the antidepressant stopped working, Parnate.
Do not listen to these ignorant doctors.
Sorry to be so strong in what I am saying but I have strong feelings about doctors who do not know what they are doing!
I will look up some stuff about Klonopin for you and post it.
