My eyes are wet for all the young people who kill or get killed. For all the lives are changed totally from that moment on.
I think war is such a terrible problem solver.
We try to teach our children how to resolve conflict and then we rush into war. How does this make sense?
"When will they ever learn......"
or how about
"I sold my flax I sold my wheel to buy my John a sword of steel so that in battle he might...
Johnny's gone for a soldier...."
So many songs about so many people who have died, been mained, traumatized, lives ruined.....So many hearts are broken.
I find it all too sad.
We were meant for greater things...
I hope.
My prayers are with this young man.
