hi guys,
thanks for responding! It is cool to hear about different things from different people. I enjoy it. :)
When I was growing up as a teen some of the local stores tried out the 'quarter in the slot to get the cart' thing. My poor dad HATED it -- he never seemed to have a quarter in winter, or else the quarter would jam and the chain would not release...and being the thrifty man that he is, he could NOT leave the cart once shopping was done w/out getting back his quarter. My sisters & I were driven to distraction by the quarter carts! I was glad when the stores phased them out.
Karen, I'm sorry you have a cart fear! That sucks. The skirt sounds interesting, though -- have you worn it out yet? Any catcalls/comments/positive response from it? I hope so!
