> This month isn't usually a good one - I have SAD and tend to be really unstable in August before becoming more mildly, steadily depressed - and a bunch of stuff has been going on to complicate that. Plus my pdoc is on vacation so I can't really talk about it until September. I'm on antibiotics after getting my wisdom teeth out, so for the next week or so I will need to be awake at 8 and midnight, so my usual tactic of sleeping all the time isn't working. I really need to kill time and relax.

Last time I needed a soothing, somewhat mindless activity I made origami boxes. There are several books. The best-known is probably "Origami Boxes". (How's that for an original title?) You can put small things in them or give them away.
