Okay, I know I need this...anyone else?
1. Today as I looked out my dining room window at my garden, I saw a hummingbird feeding at the flowers in containers along my wall.
2. Warm chocolate chip cookies.
3. The way my dog's ears flap as she runs.
4. Teaching my dog to catch a flying disk.
5. It's sunny, pleasantly warm, and NOT humid!
6. A friend who has agreed to be my "structure" to help me get moving on my dissertation. (Thanks bundles!)
7. Sting concert with Annie Lennox is only six days away!
8. Mom's allowed to drive now!
9. The simple joy of singing along with my favorite CD's...Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, Jimmy Buffett (I know, it's like "one of these things is not like the other; one of these things just isn't the same" from Sesame Street.)
10. A really, really funny political cartoon someone sent me a link to (still wiping tears from my eyes).
Hmmm, I think number 9 (number 9, number 9, number 9) is really helping the mood. Um, perhaps I should do that more often????
