>Have you had plenty of "bowtie sessions" lately, Falls? You know what I think would be great? A bowtie session *with* ice cream! Well, maybe that’s dreaming, but wouldn’t it be perfect? I’ve been thinking about you a lot now that I’ve been spending more time at the park with my son. I hope you’re hanging in there and doing alright.

You are sweet, AllDone.

Actually he wore a bowtie both yesterday and today!!!! And I worked very hard talking about hard stuff, and he tried really hard to listen and understand. So things are a little better for me (which is a really good thing...). Somehow I can't imagine him eating ice cream (but at least if he were wearing a bowtie, he wouldn't spill ice cream on his tie...) We still haven't celebrated our 1 year anniversary (June 16), because therapy has been hell - but I think I have to bring cupcakes or donuts, not ice cream.

Do you ever get a chance to swing on the swings (when someone else can watch your son for a minute?). My favorite thing to do is to get going fairly high and then stick my feet out and lean back looking behind me, so my body is in one straight line (with my hands holding on to the chain of course...). Then I just stay that way until the swing slows down. This is best when my hair is down... Do go down the slide with your son, too - kids are a great excuse to do certain things. And blow bubbles. Lots of bubbles.
