inthegloaming, I loved your list. Here's my try:
1. Not working more than what you're paid for. Hey, some of us are not on that corporate ladder on purpose.
2. Not having as much stuff as the next person. Stuff is overrated.
3. Loving what you love. You can try to fight it, but it'll probably come back around anyway. You might as just go ahead and acknowledge it, and enjoy it.
4. Googling your T. This is 2004. People should expect to be googled by anyone who has some interest in them.
5. Asking for help when you really aren't doing well.
6. Not ordering a drink in a bar (I actually apologized to the server for this once - what a doofus! It's ok if I was just there for the company!)
7. Asking outright about how someone is when you're worried. As in, "Are you ok? I'm worried about you." Or, "Are you thinking about killing yourself?"
8. Being confused or ambivalent about therapy.
9. Doing whatever maladaptive things you have to do to get through the night sometimes.
10. Posting about your problems on Babble.
