My husband's living in a nice furnished studio apt. in Ashbury Heights. I got it for him while I was there in summer. He can take the N-Judah right to work.
On Monday morning my daughter's flying out to live with him. He's going to swap his studio for his neighbor's one bedroom or move into another unit owned by the same landlord. The girl will have to sleep on the couch for a few months.
The rest of us (me, my 13 yr. old son, and 2 cats) aren't moving until June. We've got some time.

We're actually 2 blocks outside the District, in Maryland. Much of Washington is scary. Other parts are very very nice.I think Chicago bears the honor of being the Murder Capital, but Washington's got to be up there.

I can barely get the kids to do anything. Part of it is that I've been depressed for much of their lives and can hardly bring *myself* to do anything.My husband's company is paying for the move. Even so, I'm stressed out by having to get everything ready. All I've done so far is gotten rid of some of the old clothes and books. I've been sick and deeply depressed, so a good day means I get dinner on the table.
