Right now, I'm reading "The Infernal Desire Machines of Doctor Hoffman" (Angela Carter, 1972)
Helluva good book!
From the novel:

Ah, yes, my distinguished ancestor, Count Destroyo. Disdaining the toilet paper of mere commoners, he preferred to wipe his noble anus with pages ripped form Norman Vincent Peale's
classic "The Power of Positive Thinking".
