Yeah - I lived alone for 15 months in Charlotte, until my landlord died (I was living in a garage apartment) and I was forced to find a new place to live. That's when I moved in with the family I nannied for.
I remember enjoying living alone, but I also remember coming home during the times I was severely depressed and completely losing it. Not that having my roommate around prevents that, except that maybe I'm not as vocal as I was when I was alone (screaming, crying, etc.).
I just need a place where I can feel comfortable going home to and not feeling fear about what she's going to say or do or what kind of mood she'll be in, etc. It's just too much.
If I can just find somewhere I can afford. That's my biggest fear right now.
:-(
But at least now I have a definitive date from her, so no more coming home to "I'm moving out, don't know when..." crap. That was totally stressing me out. Though I still don't understand what she has against finishing out the lease???!!!
