My dog, Val (Valentine for long) would love to reply if she could get over her persistant case of doggie narcolepsy (a.k.a. "waiting for the exciting people to come home").
She emerges from her twilight world on rare occasions when she finds a small pebble outside and I let her keep it until the sound of teeth gnashing on rock becomes too much to tolerate (chew bones don't appeal to her, especially the ones I bought on sale from Big Lots).
She would love a group therapy session here at our house so she could display her cat-like habits of rubbing against legs and purring (she was around two cats as a puppy). On the other hand, I would probably have a panic attack or a hot flash and need at least eight weeks to get ready for company.
