It IS funny! I'm sure our dog knows that "voice" means something special.

My husband really started it and it DOES seem like "her voice" now (LOL - and he thinks HE'S the normal one!)

It usually goes something like "Daddy, you're such a *&%$@, you never take me for walks anymore" or similar "whinings" that we imagine she must internally complain about.

He also christened her with the description of "nervous stinky breath" when we were driving up a winding road and she was braced in the backseat panting the entire way. She NEVER sits down in the car (unless it's stopped) and she has learned to avoid the trauma of a sudden stop by permanently bracing one leg against the seat - as if it's a runner's block.

I've thought about taking her back to the Midwest with me on a driving trip but I know she would stand the entire trip.

Aren't animals fun? They become so humanized.
