Her name has come up on other boards as of late and was wondering if anyone wanted to share any of their feelings about SAR in the year since she left us.
I'm angry she 'got out' (escaped this heinous mental illness medical merry-go-round), I'm sad because her honesty was so refreshing on this board, her spark was amazing, and her just living her life to the extreme craziness (she wrote about many misadventures in the archives that if not for the fact she's gone would make for funny stories now...) that it got to and not making excuses for it all. She owned up to who she was and what she was facing and shared a great deal of that with the readers of this board.
She lived a life that was way out there warts and all for all of us to see. I admire her for having done that.
I lit a candle for her tonight. Last weekend I fed the naSARturiums I transplanted from the front to the back so they'll be blooming soon. Someone last year wrote about how they planted some in her honour and I liked the idea I went and ripped them out of my front side (shaded) yard and put them in the back against a sunny fence to climb and cover.
May her memory continue to bloom inside of us in a way that keeps the fighting spirit alive.
