If you should decide to go the artificial insemination route for your family, here's an idea for some support as a single parent: http://www.co-abode.com. It matches up single mothers with other single mothers to share in housing, childcare, psychological support, etc. I haven't read through it all but I know you have to fill out a lengthy questionnaire and then you pick who you think you would be most compatible with.
