Stress relieving tips: First choice, of course, is a trip to the Bahamas. If that is not possible, here are a few things I try. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they don't.

1. Go outside and prune some bushes. Really work out those frustrations! Prune prune prune!!! And if you prune too much and kill your bushes, they are just bushes. You can buy more.

2. Go for a brisk walk. Tell the kids it's time for PE and and take off around the neighborhood. Or drive to the local track.

3. Some people might think I am *not right* for this one, but I have always found a nice drive in the country to be soothing. I used to explore roads I had never been on, just to see where they went. I'd even get kind of lost sometimes, but I managed to find my way home again. If you live in an urban area such that arriving in the country would require an hour of dealing with @#*holes on the interstate, I doubt the drive in the country would be worth it. But some dramamine and a long ride might even make the kids nap (or at least quiet down?) a little.

I hope things get better for you, I hope the party is fabulous, and I hope the surgery goes extremely well. Take care,
MAL
