here, since it's just "talking" without the
physical presence. I've always found
conversation more intense with women--I
believe the stuff about our brains being
wired a little differently than men.

Yeah, we're definitely wired different. I used to work
at a day care center with kids...and the "nurture vs. nature"
question about gender roles became no question at all for me.
Men and women are wired different, no question. Doesn't mean
we don't share a lot of similarities too, because we share being
HUMAN...
All of my friends are women, I've always been really comfortable
with that intense energy, need it actually. I wish I had some male
friends though. I really like male energy too.

crushes on the more "unavailable" men. That
black humor is the thing that hooks me. I got
a crush on Dreamer for a while too, because
of her charming and mysterious little posts.
She's another elusive one.

Crushes are so fun. I can get crushes on men and women
too. Dreamer's a little sex pot :-) Of course everyone,
men and women alike, I think, had crushes on Sar. She was
just that sort of person.
I always wonder what everybody looks like. Like I have
a very definite picture of what Phil looks like in my
head, but he probably resembles nothing like it in real life.

even when the names aren't clear about it?
Somehow it's always obvious.

It is funny. I've been fooled before, though, and
it can totally blow your mind. I was on this astrology
forum years ago and started emailing this person whose screen
name was "ayana"...now to me, there was something about that
name that seemed "girly" and so I assumed I was corresponding
with a woman. But it turned out, "anyana" was male! Man,
it totally blew my mind. And I found myself relating completely
differently and immediately getting a big crush and kind of acting
more seductive and "womanly". Weird.
