In reply to packing for vacation--how depressing, posted by beardedlady on June 18, 2002, at 9:26:32
Hi Beardy,
wanna trade?
I'm going away for 2 weeks with wife & son. We are a traveling pharmacy:
Me:
Depakote
Zoloft
Wellbutrin
Ambien
Lorazepam
Allegra (for my allergies)Wife:
Prozac
Wellbutrin
AmbienSon:
fluoride tablets
Incidentals:
earplugs (for me)
Mylanta (for my wife)
ibuprofen
... etc.We have the pill reminders which are divided into 7 days that are childproof. In order to open a compartment, you must push on a release tab on the side. They're great, though our son knows not to mess with ANYBODY's medications.
Ted> I'm going away for a week. Here's my bag of "if I don't have these things, I won't sleep" items:
>
> 10 Serzone 100s
> 10 Serzone 150s
> 20 Sonata 10s
> 20 Zantac 75s
> 20 Ibuprofens (emergency—migraines)
> 20 Tylenol (doesn't work, but just in case)
> Flonase (for allergies that I have all of the sudden)
> Inhaler (for the asthma attack I've gotten three times in my life)
> fresh, new earplugs
> wrist guards (carpal tunnel)
>
> It's sooooo depressing. I also have to put the pills in a locked box, as I'm traveling with a child (two if you count hubby), and the locked box has to remain in the cooler if it's hot outside, in the dark if it's not.
