"Deviant" is kind of a harsh word, you know? To me, deviants are those who molest children and burn people in their houses. They don't feel guilt or shame...Ted Bundy said, "I feel sorry for people who feel guilty."
I think rather we are at the opposite end of the spectrum. Possibly we feel too much of everything;
we have the wrong sort of plumage to blend in. Lately I've been referring to all of us here on the board as "we" so I know I'm taking liberties, speaking about others, but it seems like we do have common problems...feeling isolated, unable to cope with the world at large, lacking some kind of basic defenses, lacking the herding instinct. But that doesn't make us deviants.
