Bad News

My father had a stroke this morning. The doctor says he is unlikely to recover.
I never feel able to post here or answer email when I'm really miserable. I already feel guilty about the backlog of messages I haven't yet answered because of a recent bad patch (Krazy Kat, Pedr, IsoM, et al.)
