I know what you mean about lying awake with anxiety swilling about and the idea of imminent doom. Exhausting.
Not sure if there is anything particular you are expecting in reply to your message?
I dont think there is anything before or after death- just like a seed grows into a plant then dies and rots back into the soil. Nothing romantic or mysterious. No awareness. We just need to slog on, day by day, and make the most of any good things.
Humans dont like that idea (understandably), and I respect those with religious beliefs. But i dont share them.
