Willow,
Yes, the heat has been unbearable, I went for a late-night walk last night to beat the heat, the skunks were out though, and I was a little scared... Makes me wish I had a pooch like you have... (I think you said this in a post on another thread, or am I just making this up? You were smelling wood-smoke... something like that...)
Journaling is great, and dreams can be incorporated, etc., so Sar, if you're reading this, give yourself an outlet. We can all use the time to focus on ourselves and whatever we want to write about. And now that we're adults, with our own houses or apartments, we can write without fearing our siblings or moms are going to read it and find out about our little dramas...
I like PSB and the gang here, because it is a lot like journaling. You can say whatever is on your mind, it's often a daily thing, logging on and reading and catching up with people, and you don't feel like you're being judged, unlike daily life with family and "real-life" friends. The people here know first-hand what you're going through, and don't give you that attitude, like "you're being self-indulgent" or "pick yourself up by your bootstraps" shit... So my "real-life" friends are more here than there...
I was the one who broke into my older sister's little pink, mini-locked diary when we were kids... Nothing earth-shattering. I felt terrible about it, though. She found out and beat me up. It's just those little locks, they make you *want* to break in, for some reason...
love to all,
your resident kleptomaniac,
W.> Perhaps as we get older the need to share is greater and we notice that others feel the same way, that our thoughts are more common. Or perhaps nobody cares to read our journals anymore.
