It's not as bad as telling yourself a joke in your head and then laughing about it for a few minutes straight... then people -really- look at you strange... My sister and I are like that, we are a bit manic when it comes to some humor, and we maybe find way more humor in something that other people think is just stupid... I think at dinner one time I made her laugh so hard she fell out of her chair... My father/stepmother dispise us for it but they can kindly piss off!

Don't be 'embarased' about anything you do, unless you are running around with a lampshade on your head... It can't be half as bad as being caught on film w/ your pants down at a bar you freequent (been there)... so keep on smiling, as you say, it's better than cryin'.
