Willow,
I haven't been posting to this board very long. I return here for these little posts you make. The one below is a beauty! It reminds me of Mary Shelley; like one of those passages in Frankenstein in which the monster damns his creator. In my darkest moments, I used to feel like a monster; like the novel as a whole was an excellent metaphor for anyone suffering an affliction. While I no longer feel so monsterish or afflicted, I still enjoy this sort of rhetoric. Brilliant fake guilt trip to Kazoo.
Bravo,
Lissa
> Last night I waited until the fire burnt down to embers. I watched them dance like red fireflies against a black night until my tears washed them away. With my soul thoroughly cleansed, I pondered wether I had been really waiting on an apparition instead of a friend. Having nothing to warm me a chill began to set in and alas with trepidation I began the trek back to my planet.
