If cloning people seemed at all ethical, researchers should set up an experiment such that they clone male and female babies whom they suspect have "genes" for mental illness. Then both sets grow up and reproduce. One set of parents would then be instructed to be very, very mean. And then the other set would be very, very nice. And then they'd see how the kids turned out. OK. that's not ethical at all. never will be. And it would take too long. Anyone got another fanciful idea?
