> I too have been very frustrated with anxiety lately, and have had the tightness in my chest. A new med is kicking in for me and the anxiety is lessening but now I'm a little fuzzy headed at times, and unmotivated most others. I think this site might help me deal a little better as I don't feel quite as alone as I had.
I, too, have found comfort in this site. After I posted my note, I had a *very* bad night. I had constant panic attacks over and over and over. Before I even went to bed I was crying in frustration from feeling so badly. The meds just aren't working as fast as I'd like them.
Fortunately, I had an appt with my therapist the next morning and he told me it was ok to take xanax to get me through this.'
I am not comfortable taking it (I took a total of 20 0.25 mgs in 10 months) for fear of it losing it's effectiveness, or worse, getting addicted.
I"m struggling but trying to deal with it. I just can't seem to "accept it". I HATE IT.
Someone long ago suggested getting on the treadmill to help "break the cycle". We just got a treadmill, and at 11pm, I was on it, but it didn't help.
I just don't understand how this stupid anxiety appeared magically in my life 6 months ago and I never felt like this before. *Something* must be causing it, but I just don't know what. :(Karen
