Hey tdaneen:
I am really relieved to hear that you had a pretty good experience with your hospitalization. I, too, would love to know where you went and what made the experience better for you than it could have been. Having been hospitalized so many times myself, some terrible and some not so bad, I know the criteria I look for when I need to go in, what was it for you?
Have a great trick or treating night with your little angel!! I'll be out with Elvis tonite - my 10 y/o son. I'm dressing up as Priscilla (his wife - not of the desert:)) take care, dari
> Greetings everyone! I'm back, and I'm feeling ever so much better. I have offically had my very first bipolar hospitalization. This one was for a depressive phase. Thank goodness I got out in time for Halloween. I still have time tonight to bust ass and make my daughter's angel costume. My husband that I am seperated from showed his true colors while I was in the hospital. I'll have to say it truly amazed me that an adult man would throw a tantrum that he wasn't getting any attention. Brother! Grow up!
> I thought I was being clever when I checked in. I wore my Eeyore shirt. The nurses didn't seem to have much of a sense of humor at the time.
> I wasn't prepared for the stay, but I was surprised. It wasn't the awfull experience I thought it would be. I came out of it apprehensive (to say the least), but with my eyes open and with a little more strength than when I went in. I am thankful that I have had this venue to help educate myself. If not for this it is likely I would still be cowering in my closet during those BLACK days.
> Hey, I would LOVE to chat about it with anyone!
