Hi Everyone, I'm madly rushing to pack the final stuff into bags & the care.
Husband, daughter, hopefully son & moi are camping at Pinery Provincial Park for a week.
My son is out this weekend and what a DIFFERENT kid. He hasn't been doing drugs or drinking out in Guelph at the independent-house where he & 5 other 16-21 yr old guys live with staff, supervision, rules, etc. He loves it there; will be attending high school in Sept; seems to have turned a corner! He's a delight now that he's off drugs. He actually smoked up a bit out here, but it's not built-up in his system so he was not like he used to be when he was using daily.
He has a meeting he has to attend on Monday, so if he can get permission, he'll come out to join us by train. Apparently he was late getting up one morning & late getting in so is on cooking duty for 2 weeks (!) He'll have to see if he can arrange to get someone fill in for him & pay them back or whatever, so he might join us or might not. The funny thing is that there are way more rules etc out there than here at home!!!!!!!
He actually THANKED me for kicking him out, and said that he thinks we'll all be able to relate better now that he's not living here! (WOW)Must fly. I'll miss you all & will eventually report back in when I get back.
