covid is coming. it isn't here, yet.
we were required to extract a health professional who is very sick from covid from fiji. we weren't going to help (we are psychopaths like that) but the un required it. so the health professional is going to be treated in nz.
we were all 'boo hooo we can't do it we are overrun with RSV in children'.
we are emergency over capacity alwayas business as usual. no surge capacity.
this is before covid comes.
every possible opportunity to get the house in order before the covid comes.
every possible opportunity.
every possible opportunity to stock up on medical supplies.
years to train staff. years since 2019...
graduate them. employ them. pay them. teach them useful skills.
years.
