You start work next week, so can you do any last fun things you'd want to do but might not have time to do with a job, even if it feels forced at first? Any craft projects you want to get done, local sights you want to visit, pedicures, etc.? If that's too much, I totally understand too. But it can help if you can force yourself to do something purposefully to take care of yourself, sometimes.

> sunnydaysThat's a good idea sunny. I have a lot of nervous energy, mixed with dread and excitement. I decided that since I'm home anyways I might as well start cooking (throwing a largish party tomorrow). I have cinnamon roll dough rising in the oven right now. Tomorrow is a babyshower AND our housewarming party. whoa. this isolation thing is starting with a whimper and ending with a bang!
I think I will take a bath and give myself a pedi later on this am. What color should the toes be? This summer I've had red, blue and fuschia nails. perhaps I should do a french pedicure. that always looks nice. nix that- my hands aren't steady enough. maybe a light lavender. I have some that is a pretty silver lavender color.
I gave myself a facial yesterday and I think it stimulated all my pores into rebellion. new breakouts on chin. Actually, these were no doubt already forming, but the exfoliation of the facial brought them to the surface (GRoSS!!!)
Thank you for your kindness ") you're a good sunnydays.
I'm knitting a seafoam green scarf right now. I have about a foot. It's only 13 stiches across a row, so maybe I can do another foot today. that may cure some of my AgiTaTiOn.
seeing local sights would require getting out of the house. And money- did I mention that we're poverty-stricken right now. Haven't been this poor since... 1st year of grad school.
Thank god I have new job at coffee shop. them frappucinos are expensive!!!
