Well, I know that he will read it. I know that he will read it before my next session. The main thing is that I feel better because I said it (um, wrote it). So it's off my chest. I think that is what was bothering me the most- I didn't know how to give myself the opportunity to say the hard stuff. I don't have a lot of practice saying hard stuff. Now I've given myself the opportunity to pull out my post-it note next session. I've also given him a heads-up that he might want to be a little more sensitive-supportive next week.
