I find that when I am depressed, even slightly, it shows in my grooming. In fact for me it is one of the ways I recognise the onset of depression. Usually at the beginning I am still able to function adequately at work and in other spheres, but there is this outer fringe that starts to wilt. Could you be harbouring an underlying depression that isn't being treated?
