Talked/Talking About Babble in Therapy

Posted by Poet on April 29, 2006, at 10:49:01

I told my T that I'm getting nervous about presenting in Toronto. She started asking about the people I post to and what I get from being here. She said she wants to rehearse with me what I'm going to say before the conference. So I'm less afraid.

I told her that I'm afraid that she'll track down my posts if I reveal too much about babble. She promises that she won't. She actually looked offended that I thought she would do it.

She is really interested in what goes on here. She says it sound like group therapy which is something that I would never do IRL. That I'm talking to other posters and offering my help and listening to your ideas. So it's like group, but without the pressure of being with there in person.

I told her that they are a bunch of different boards and she really likes that I'm playing with someone on the social board (Racer, are your ears burning?) I'm not isolating, I'm interacting.

I'm going to tell her more about Babble and *rehearse* with her before Toronto. I'll post what we talk about.
