We had to make an aquarium. Well, it didn't need to be an aquarium. Just a body of water with fishies inside.
My husband and I stuck to the instructions and more or less did self portraits. While my son was his normal self and drew robots and warriors. :) You should see his church drawings. I didn't know there were so many Droids in the New Testament. lol.
I can't draw worth a darn, so while my husband and son were drawing beautifully, I made a fish out of a yellow deflated balloon and hot pink tissue paper and added sea grass of green, yellow and brown tissue paper.
I think she tried to tie what we had done together, maybe something about my son's part of the drawing being scary. I dubbed it the Sinister Sea in the tradition of Lemony Snicket. But I dunno. The boy just likes to draw battles and robots. Seems pretty normal to me.
Oh, and she commented on how polite we all were with each other. Lots of pleases and thank you's and interest without interference in each others work. She said it wasn't always like that. (Some families must have no discretion at all. I mean, we are usually like that, but we'd be sure to be in a therapy office even if we weren't.)
