Seratonin and sexual functioning

Posted by mav27 on August 29, 2008, at 10:09:52

Ok i have a bit of a query regarding this as some rather wierd tings have been happening to me lately. Since ssri's all cause bad sexual dysfuntion to me, mostly being impossible to reach orgasm ect.. does it impy that low amounts of seratonin may cause the oppisite? A couple months back i hit a new low in depression.. i've never felt this bad in my life and i went to hospital because it was actually kind of scary.. anyway there has been a couple strange things that happened at the same time.. i now have what i guess would be described as premature ejaculation.. and i'm talking seconds... 10 seconds would be a long time now.. and the even odder thing is SSRI's are no longer causing delayed ejaculation.. ummm any ideas what the hell is going on here? It feels like someone jumpoed in my head overnight and flipped a few wrong switches.
