I find comfort in the passage of time. That if I just wait, things will change. It feels less like passivity than patience. So though I want to feel better now right now! I already know from past experience that regardless of how I fret and ruminate, that tomorrow will look slightly different.
This feels like progress. It feels easy and takes some sense of responsibility for Making Things Go Faster from off of my shoulders. Not that time heals all wounds, but time changes our perspective on those wounds.
