That's an interesting question. I'd love to understand how other people think...

I've always just assumed that high self esteem was more of an absence of something (the negative self-talk) than the presence of something (positive self-talk, I guess). But as I think about it now, I think everyone has some sort of running commentary about themselves in their head... is it possible to get through life without noticing and judging your own behavior
(whether negatively or positively), at least sometimes? I'm not sure.

For me, I often wonder how much of what is "normal" to be really isnt normal, and how much is. I dont put a lot of importance on the word "normal", but in this sense, it's an interesting question.
